Rayson Company was founded in 1965 by James E. Rayburn to supply machined components to NASA and the Air Gas Products industry. In the early 70’s the company began to supply products to the Oil & Gas Equipment Industry specializing in valve components. During the oil crisis in the mid 80’s, the company became dormant and was re-established in 1992. The company moved to its current site in North Houston in 1995 and maintained its focus on supplying valve components to the Oil & Gas Industry. Upon Mr. Rayburn’s death in 2002, his daughter, Jan Rayburn, assumed ownership of the company. Rayson has continued to grow and develop to the company it is today.
